Avalakki Bisi Nimbe Bath/Bhath or Oggarane (Tempered) Avalakki (Poha) is a famous breakfast item in Southern Karnataka. Light and healthy, this breakfast mix contains Poha tempered with Peanuts, Mustard, Bengal Gram Dal, and Black Gram Dal and spiced with Chillies, Lemon, and Ginger.
Ingredients
Beaten Rice, Vegetable Cooking Oil, Mustard, Bengal Gram Dal, Black Gram Dal, Groundnuts, Salt, Green Chillies, Curry Leaves, Ginger, Lemon Powder, Turmeric, and Sugar
Directions for Use
Take 1 measure of Adukale Avalakki Bisi Nimbe Bhath and add 1 measure of warm water with ½ to 1 tsp of vegetable oil
Measure means a cup or container of your choice
Keep aside for 5 minutes
Mix it well and serve it with Adukale Chutney Powders
